We had a beautiful day for our hike. The trail is a little rocky and wet in spots, so watch your step. The trail outlined above will not take you to the waterfall. We learned too late that you have to add the full Waterfall Loop to the hike. The short section of this loop on the outline will not get you there.

Hiked 5.5 miles on the waterfall loop section of this trail. We trudged through some deep wet snow along this entire route which made walking a little difficult, but all in all it was a nice pretty well marked trail, would definitely recommend to most skill levels of hikers

not a difficult trail. could use some more maps throughout the park. had to rely on the app multiple times to direct me through the tail options. not many lookouts, but a plethora of trails. will definitely be back to see the rest of what the park has to offer.

Highly recommend the following route.

Blueberry to Waterfall Loop
Blueberry has the best views in the preserve
Waterfall has a great canopy of hardwoods

Waterfall to High Voltage
High Voltage has great flora diversity despite being a powerline right of way

High Voltage to Stonehenge
Stonehenge is a mix of shrubby mountain laurel, scotch pine, and birch before opening into additional mountain views

Stonehenge to Conglomerate
Conglomerate has nice views and additional blueberry patches

Conglomerate to Access Roads/Parking Lot
In the summer would be great to swim in the lake on your way out. Very clear limestone basin

This trail is very well marked with plenty of other trails to explore. I wouldn't rank it as Hard but more on the Moderate side. Definitely watch your step though as it is rocky.

Not too many people know about this nature preserve but the hiking and biking trails are terrific. Gorgeous scenery with a mix of low growth bushes and woods, depending on which trails you take. I did the blueberry trail, waterfall loop, stonehenge trail, view loop, and conglomerate loop in a counter-clockwise pattern. Ended up being almost 7 miles. Not really sure why it's rated as hard. For the most part I would say it falls under the "easy" category. View loop is more "moderate" with rocky terrain and some steeper elevation changes, but nothing overly challenging.
