This trail said kid friendly but I would say it's more big kid friendly (at least 6-8). Took my 4 year old and it was very steep and rocky although he did push through. Otherwise it was a lovely trail and would be moderate for adults.

A small, rocky trail that was suitable for the whole family.

I personally have been there multiple times and each time it is always an amazing experience I would recommend this to anyone that wants to have a small challenge.

Did this a few weeks ago. Not bad. Mostly uphill at first then back down. Not very long but it connects to other longer trails.

Our family of 5 enjoyed this approximately 1 hour trek. Our youngest is 5 and managed it well. Its definitely moderate terrain and rocky. Look for the white/maroon-red trail marks!

Most of this loop is rather easy despite the mild ascent/descent, but the eastern side does have some rockiness to it and some rather steeper sections which I would also rate as moderate like others have mentioned. Nice view at the top. You can't see quite completely over all of the trees due to the outward slope of the mountain, but is a great wide area which makes up for it. The little trail shown on AllTrails map from the viewpoint that shortcuts down on the east-side is not maintained and do not recommend taking it. When your at the top where the benches are, it looks like a clear trail that goes down...not too bad in the winter, but there was still a bit of prickly weeds grown over and the trail gets narrower (pretty much unnoticeable at the bottom where it intersects).

Well worn down and could easily be followed. Would rank as moderate. The vista part of the trail was slightly overgrown but part of the view could still be seen.

Beautiful view from the top. A moderate rating would be more accurate as it was a little more challenging for my toddlers than expected.

I would not rate this as easy. I would saw moderate, steep and rocky. We did like it very much and will do it again. The bench at the top look out was lovely.
