Always a nice trail, with access to Lake Marburg from a number of points. I hiked the Mary Ann Furnace Trail using the trail extension from the Rommel Farm parking. I added a swath of trail to the northeast, hiking on a segment of the Codorus Park campground.
Lots of crunchy leaves to run on, some decent inclines and pretty views.
nice trail ... well maintained. numerous variations of trail to hike including Codorus State Park campgrounds .
Enjoyed the fall foliage and the trails. Side trails take you to the lake. I was glad that I was wearing my fluorescent orange jacket. I didn’t know hunting was permitted. So that was a bit scary but others were on the trail with no special colors on. Not sure how this works but found same signage at Hickory Run State Park on Saturday. But again saw many people families babies etc on the trails.
