Trail was nice, couple places with a steep climb. Great time. Pretty scenery even in winter
A great set of trails in a compact park. Fields, deep woods, elevation changes. My local go to trail for a nice workout.
Well maintained with good views that summer foliage would obscure. Some large groups talking (yelling) loudly but otherwise pretty peaceful.
Rocky and wet leaf covered with solitude elevation change and fab bird obs station on main trail at the end. No one else here Lovely river views
Well marked. One of the less rocky trails in the area, other than certain points. Have a map if you don’t have a good sense of direction. If you start counterclockwise you’ll kick off with a pretty steep climb. Nice hills for such a short local hike. Not all that crowded and most mask up as you pass one another.
Nice covered trail. Well marked, can’t really get lost. Trees obscure view of river, but looking through the woods is nice. Definitely straight up the hill hike in a few places. I was tired. Great parking lot. Visitors center was closed. This is a Natural Lands trail.
Decent overall trail. Too many leaves on trees tog et great views but still good. The uphill can be steep in parts but footing is easy. Nothing tricky. Enjoy!
It’s not for the faint of heart, but has a very scenic trail. With a bird watching station to allow for some nice pictures.
Well marked clear trail. More elevation and rocks than expected (not easy, more moderate). Short Detour for turnpike portion of trail, but joins back quickly.
Beautiful trails, well marked and extremely clean. Hats off to the person(s) who cares for this natural space! Good workout with some steep ups and downs.
This is a lovely spot. Fantastically well-kept, wide trails, great signage and trail markings, and a diversity of terrain (including some nice steep slogs) make this place a new local favorite. Both the chimney rock and lookout out-and-back segments were worth doing even in summer, but I will definitely be back in fall for views on the latter. Signs posted around the sanctuary provided genuinely insightful info about preservation and historical factors influencing the diversity of 'reclaimed' land. I really appreciated the time and care that go into the design and maintenance of this place—I will donate and come back!
