Hiked with Dan and Samson. Another awesome day! Perfect weather! Trail section along Dutter’s Run is the most beautiful section of trail! Long day, but amazing hike. Just a trickle of water at Angel Falls according to several people, so we didn’t go see it.

Great, well marked trail from what we saw, but we didn’t go far because it was a hot weekend, and we just wanted to get out in the woods for a quick overnight. Found a nice campsite a quick walk from water about 1.6 miles in after passing another group camped at maybe 1.3.

Plenty of water sources along the trail. Quite a few camp sites as well. We did this as an out and back as an overnight trip and it was a great trip. The kettle creek view is nice but Mary’s view is not really much to look at although the scenery on the way there is worth it. We even saw a hummingbird while having breakfast in the morning. There was barely any other hikers there which was strange but nice at the same time. If you are tired of listening to fireworks go off day and night this is a perfect place to get away.

Snowy day in April, but a great hike! Parking available at Brunnerdale Road. Follows Brunnerdale Run for a bit till you climb up to Kettle Creek Vista - it’s lovely! Then down to cross Kettle Creek - be careful - water is a little high right now.

Beautiful area with old timber Forrest, lots of meadows and some great vistas. Some serene gullies and ravines. Passes through a lot of private property that limits overnite camping. Old resort remnants still remain.
