Spur of the moment decision to hit this trail. Still had more snow than I thought it would, considerably cooler that my area. Want to check it out later in the year.

Nice, quick out and back. Family friendly for young kids. Not a marked trail; just an old logging path that leads to two old hunting camps. Otherwise if you can follow a path it's a pretty easy and quick leg stretcher.

Hiking

Tried this hike as outlined but there were no trail markers to the lost cabin from the lower lot. So we ended up following the markers for the “Stairway” hike. Would be good hike in the warmer weather or not after a storm.

We did it wrong, but still great fun. We tock “lost camp trail” and “half mile trail” to Fire Tower Road, and back. Some wet areas and some overgrown sections, but mostly solid trails. Definitely recommended as an alternative for the adventurous.
