Nice little escape from the city. An easy trail with good variety, was fairly quiet on a cold Sunday.

Fun, easy little hike. Some nice hills and options to go off trail and explore without totally losing track of where you are. Some parts of the trail are not well marked or clear, but the app was super helpful.

HikingGreat!

Lots to see! We definitely didn’t follow this loop exactly (it wasn’t marked well) but we enjoyed lots of wooded trails where it felt pretty secluded, some open pastures/meadows, colorful fall leaves, and some nice views of the creek. Plenty of space to distance from others.

HikingGreat!

My husband and I have been taking this trail a couple times per week since April. We love the peace and serenity it offers as you walk among the trees, next to the creek. There are many options and some are quite challenging. Our favorite place close to home! Also, if you go during the day on a weekday, you may have the place to yourselves. But, even on a weekend afternoon, it doesn’t really feel crowded.

Running

Enjoyed my first time on this trail. The lorimor section is still closed but there are many off shoots to supplement for extra mileage. I enjoyed the scenery and there were lots of birds out today! The trail is well maintained but like other reviews, few detailed signs or blazes but it’s pretty easy to learn your way around. Good trail for all levels.

Really nice, easy hike. Be sure to use a map as there are absolutely no signs or blazes. Also, the Montgomery County side of the park is closed (05/2/20) but there are no signs or notices until well after you are in that side of the park.

This was a very good trail for a beginner with moderate hills and enough walkway space for hikers to pass one another. You will need to reference the map if you’re hiking this for the first time. This coincides with several trails. I would have given this 5 stars but it was partially closed in Loriner Park due to covid-19. That took a mile off of the course.
