Trail was very beautiful with the sunshine and blue skies. Lots of ice and slippery in places.
Great route with a challenging climb to the MST. The majority of the trails are covered in ice and snow so I recommend ice spikes or coils. There were also a few trees down on the Longerger Path and the MST, but not difficult to navigate around. Otherwise a quiet and beautiful run.
Beautiful. Nearly killed us coming down on Kettle but lovely hike anyway.
That’s a heck of an up and down, but very balanced! The plateau was really nice! I had a great time. The dog did too (and husband!)
Nice medium difficulty hike with a cool view at the top!
parts of the trail are awfully close to the road and not as secluded in the wilderness as we would have liked... the elevation gain is intense and steep!
Great trail! If you enjoy a walk in the woods with a combination of easy, flat terrain plus more difficult scrambling on rocks, this is the trail for you! If you want to hike up to a beautiful view, this is not your trail. We definitely appreciated having the map from this app to keep us on the right track.
