This was a really nice trail until you’re to turn 90 deg left onto what looks like a clear cut road/power line. There were no markers where the trail turned off the main road on to a trail back into the tree line. We looked and looked for markers but nothing. This forced us to walk the swampy “road” until it picked up the trail again. It was fine after that, but unfortunately, the swamp and lacking trail markers downgraded the review.

Very poorly marked, there was a large bee hole by the pond, then we lost the trail.... don’t waste your time.

Gorgeous lake! For most of the trail you can't hear anything but nature!

I hiked this trail 12-01-2012 - Nice walk through a big variety of terrain. Be sure to review the map at the trail head, so you do not have to hike it 1.5 times like I did. If you follow the numbered signs, you only do the one short loop, which brings you out at station 2, near the trail head. Turn left before station 10, to hike the whole thing. This trail is two connected loops - I do not know why the signs are numbered the way they are. Enjoy!
