Great trail for biking, not the best for hiking. Paved path with some small hills. Runs along the creek which is nice. Some nice spots along the trail for bouldering.

This was a good 2 hour hike. I usually wander forbidden drive and like to wander until I can’t hear traffic anymore. However, nowhere on this trail is it possible to escape the din of Lincoln drive. There are still some nice views, I also took a diversion to the regional rail bridge which had some interesting artwork and I stopped at Deke’s BBQ for dinner afterwards so all in all a good afternoon if you’re not dead-set on completely escaping civilization.

Hiked on a Monday early afternoon and nearly had the trail to ourselves. We were on the part of the Wiss Trail that runs parallel to Lincoln Drive and the creek, but also went onto Forbidden Drive and deeper into the woods. I believe we were on the orange trail for much of our hike.

Fun trail for a walkabout - the foliage is so dense that you don't really get any "views" but that's not what its there for.

What is this? No one calls it by this name. Forbidden Drive is a popular trail here.

Hey, I'm relatively new to Philly area and I seen this trail on my to work and have not been able to find again. Could someone direct me here (intersecting streets) because all I know it near the Schuylkill River trail. The waterfall captured me. Trdavia5@gmail.com Thanka!

Lincoln Trail is a quaint and scenic hike that hosts nature lovers of biking, running, dog walking, fishermen, bird watchers to just even a pleasant walk with a good conversational companion. It is a laid back trail for a nice morning walk either by yourself or as a family.

Really nice trail. Great scenery. Sometimes, it doesn't feel like there is enough room for those walking and those bicycling. Because of how narrow the trail is sometimes you have to be very careful of your small children. Bicyclists are often zooming by.

Access point is on Rittenhouse just below Wissahickon Ave by the no parking sign. There is a nice ridge and uphill climb that ends with a sharp accent with a log jump. The trail travels a cliff which mirrors Lincoln Dr. great trail always good to do last just before going into Philly.
