A multitude of different trails to hike or mountain bike. Northwoods entrance near the damn can be tricky to find. It is on left coming from the damn, look for small wooden bridge leading into the forrest Red trail leads to blue and yellow trails which can take you to bullfrog pond. Orange trails are for mountain bikes.

Beautiful fall day with an amazing view

Trail along the rivers edge is perfect for an easy hike or with a stroller. you can then follow trail down to the dam to view the waterfall and brook (narrow woodsy trail). Very pretty views. If you follow the road past campgrounds and through sawhorse barrier you come to a very hidden trail on the left side which takes you to Big Bass Pond, great little fishing hole.

Hiked along the lakeshore and then walked passed the dam and onto the Northwoods trail. The trail was marked but at times was confusing because the markers seemed few and far between in certain areas. Was hard to see where in began and ended. There were plenty of trails so you can’t get lost. Ended up on Fairgrounds Road which we ended up on 407 by the Entrance of the Park came back on Orchard trail. All in all , was a nice hike but was sloppy in a couple areas.

Beautiful park to walk your dog. Ventured out to some trails I’ve never seen for the first time. Me and my dog enjoyed it

Trail was marked well and fully covered in snow. The hike was relatively easy and my 2 1/2 yr old completed the hike with minimal help.

A beautiful walk through the old woods! The trail is well marked and easy to follow. A nice hike in winter months because all the mud is frozen. Definitely « easy » not « moderate ». Add the South Branch Trail to your day - it’s lovely and very lightly trafficked.

Easy terrain. A bit muddy today due to all the recent rain, but nothing terrible. Beautiful outcrop about a half mile in and the second half of the trail through the pines is beautiful.

Flat terrain so not much of a hike per se, but a very nice walk mostly in the forest. We found it poorly marked at the point where you turn and loop back and ended up getting a little lost finding the path back to the starting point.

Didn't push through. There were no signs for the trail so we didn't find it. We only found the parking but no information about the trail. It feels creepy!

A multitude of trails through the state park. Nice hike, easy, 4 miles or so from parking lot 5 to bullfrog pond via Northwoods trail. Orange trail at trail head than red trail to blue than yellow. Orange trail also runs a few miles and is used for mountain biking.
