Coming up from south Georgia I find this areas history fascinating as a link to the Trolley trail runs right behind his house in Lake Winola. My GPS being what it is couldn't agree on Factoryville, Dalton or LaPlume but I persevered. It's a shame the old roadbed doesn't link with other sections - perhaps this is in the future? This trolley was an idea ahead of it's time being it was powered by electricity. I wonder how many people who live along the trail actually know what is in their back yard. It was a neat adventure and I hope more of the original road will be linked in the future before people build on top of it.

The trails are fun and well maintained. Some of the markers have faded or are missing, but it’s easy to stay on the paths or get back to them if you end up away from them (usually when you’re going closer to the water). We had some trouble finding the paths at first, but if you walk through campus and go to the library, there is a map right there!

Gorgeous trail! Very well maintained being a part of Keystone collage. Beautiful exotic looking hanging bridge right at the beginning with very cool photo ops!

I only did some of this walk and it was okay. Nothing too crazy but still nice.

I’ve walked this route a few times. If it’s been raining a lot it will have puddles and be muddy. Good quick trek, large up and downs for hills, very slick if wet. Mostly wooded and trees covered.

Great easy hike with kids and dog. Was a bit confused as to where the trail head was, since the directions just take you to the college. Park. Head toward library. Stairs to the left of the building take you to suspension bridge and is the start of trail.
