Path is paved. Beautiful overlook! Cool rocks to climb on. Would recommend.

This is a roughly paved system of trails spanning between the parking lot and two overlook areas. There is a main trail you can follow that takes you past large boulders that are easily climbable. It’s easy to take some of the side trails to explore without fear of getting lost. This is easy terrain and was very fun to do with our dog. It’s very close to many other things to do. We left here and went to rim rock.

The trial is fairly easy, it’s a simple walk that leads to an overlook which has you viewing a portion of the lake which multiple waterways intersect. My trip to Allegheny wouldn’t have been complete without it.

Nice, easy hike, favorite section is below the cliffs, cave-like areas, etc. Several overlooks. Fun place for all hiking levels. Beautiful in the winter.

Not much of an actual hiking trail, just a paved path that connects to a few different overlooks. The overlooks have a very nice view of the Allegheny Reservoir down below and in the fall it would be perfect for seeing the leaves change.
