Horseshoe Trail is a 1.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Todd, Pennsylvania that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
The beginning of the trail is a very steep uphill climb that might be difficult for some. once you get to the top you get some pretty great views of the surrounding state park and maybe even a glimpse of a bald eagle. Overall a great trail that might be considered harder than moderate.
Horseshoe trail to Logging Road. Hotshot trail is steep and a bit challenging with an infant in backpack, but doable. Fist part of logging road is like a deer path but then opens to overgrown old logging road.
