Nice hike with little elevation change. Some rocky areas and recent blowdowns.

Not bad, other than being rocky and rooted it really wasn’t bad at all. Nice little workout

We did this trail yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. Started / ended at Hopewell lake where it was very crowded. Once we got away from the pool area, the crowd thinned out and we were alone on the trails for most of the hike. Terrain varies: paved, earthen, tree roots, pesky Pennsylvania rocks, a few basketball size boulders. It was a bit muddy and definitely buggy. Bring some Ben's with you and you'll be fine. It took us about 3 hours including a few stops along the way for pictures and a rest at the lake on our way back to the car. I think it's an easy hike with one section that's moderate because of a steady climb. Nothing too intense at all. Bonus: you'll pass a few campsites with port-a-potties complete with TP and hand sanitizer. Note: download the map or bring a paper map as there is no cell service.

Mostly a very quiet, wooded hike; but when you get to the areas with people, there are LOTS of people. I started out at Scott’s Run Lake, up to the Boone and Horseshoe Trails to the Hopewell Lake loop- Hopewell Lake is where it gets crowded. Beautiful woods, 2 lakes and a creek with opportunities for the dog to cool off. Trail surface varies from smooth, packed dirt, to gravel, to macadam to muddy and root-strewn. I’d definitely do a variation of this hike again

Some great parts, some okay parts. Saw 6 groups of mountain bikers and a few dogs off leash (pet peeve of mine). Two lakes and trails in great shape but still fun.

This was a really nice walk through the woods with enjoyable views of both lakes. We were there midday and there were some buggy parts but for the most part nothing too bothersome. Plenty of parking and no fee to enter when we went.

Good trail overall, not too crowded for a state park. Deep woods get very buggy and a few good sections that are rocky and cobbley.

Great trail, only a few inclines. No views, per se, but it was beautiful and green. Went midday, so there were some bugs. Still made for a nice hike!
