Love this area- extremely beautiful and the varied topography make this a good area to prepare for backpacking at higher elevations around the east coast (helped me prepare for hiking trips to the Adirondacks, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine). Good spot to test your gear or read a book by the creek. Lots of people use t for rock climbing

We really loved the views and easily marked trails. Venturing off​ the beaten path was fun as well to access some of the best spots.

Beautiful day about 66 in late February. We walked down to the river and walked along the rocks for a mile or two. Perfect day
