Great!

Started out in the dark so we could make it to the top for the sunrise and we didn't die so I am giving it 5 stars. Had a blast with this quick fun trail.

Great trail. I'm over 300lbs and had no problems with this hike. Just watch your step. Pups loved it too!

Def some rock scrambling. Would rate it as difficult for some who might deal with some physical differences. My 5 year old completed this with me, but I was very observant when he was scrambling up the rocks, and sections with very high roots. View is nice, very good workout though. Just watch your step, take your time, and enjoy. Be full of mindfulness and enjoy nature.

CampingGreat!

Giving this 5 stars. Reason being, Im biased and love worlds end state park. Who goes out to backpack 1.3 miles? My girlfriend and I (her first time hiking with a backpack and weight) went up this trail for the vista and then headed the next 6-7 miles or so for Sones pond. I wont lie, the steep incline kicked my ass and definitely beat her up. Not worth the view, but definitely a good starting point for an out and back to Sones pond or a loop trail utilizing the link trail and LT.

Definitely a steep hike but the views were pretty cool. Especially in the fall with the leaves changing. Make sure you have the right footwear for sure. This trail is marked as kid friendly but I wouldn’t bring little kids on this trail. It gets very steep and rocky in many places.

This was a tough climb for a not so stunning view. Nearby Buttermilk vista was better. But if you like scrambling and need a good sweat... it will be a good workout!

Nice trail.. the view is a bit underwhelming compared to chanting vista on the other side, but it’s short and good to get the heart pumping. Nice waterfall at the top.

I loved this trail! I’d rate it as difficult. It’s a pretty steep incline with a lot of rock scrambling. My kind of trail. It’s only a little over 1 mile, but you get to see a lot and get a good work out in over a short period of time. Such a beautiful spot. It ends on the road, but there is a sidewalk, and then you have to walk back up to your car at the other trail head. Definitely recommend doing it counter clockwise. Would definitely do it again.

My son and I stumbled across this trail. A stranger suggested it and we had about an hour and a half before sundown so figured we would try it. the rock scramble is quite steep but views are exceptional and the trail is relatively short. there is only about a city block or less on the road.

A nice trail with some good views. Definitely a good work out. I went after a night of rain and that provided very slick terrain in some areas. Be careful; but it isn’t anything you can’t do if you don’t take your time.

Nice short trail that can be done in about 45 minutes. The park rates it as the most difficult trail in the park, probably because of the steeps above the creek (above the wooden bridge), but it is otherwise fairly moderate. Rocky and lots of roots. Really beautiful stands of pine and mountain laurel, as well as large rock formations for the kids to climb on at the top.

Short ok trail. If you go counterclockwise there is a fun rock scramble. Vista view is underwhelming and there is a lot of walking along the road on the way back. But the first part is so nice that it balances that out. Definitely wear appropriate footwear.

Fun little trail! Steep incline and moderately difficult rock climb. Nice vista! If you want to add some distance just jump onto the loyalsock trail and Finnish the high rock on the way back.

Great trail, lots of fun climbing the rocks! One of my favorite trails. Definitely not an easy trail, moderate to hard or experienced, but absolutely worth it!

Took this trail after the Butternut. So glad we did it. Loved the rock scrambling and the various lookout points. Take caution with the steep incline especially when wet. Keep an eye out when the trail split from the LT. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quick and very scenic trail. Loved the waterfall.

This is not a moderate trail! the boulder field you have to climb is tough, it is a damp and slippery way especially in the fall with the leaves! Use all necessary precautions, However! Once you get past this area it is beautiful!
