Very pleasant short hike, interesting change in terrain from creek edge to Hemlock grove. Some elevation gain.

Great short hike - the hemlocks were amazing and walking near the creek was beautiful. There were a few slippery spots but otherwise no issues on the trail. With my teenage sons and husband we completed this trail in under 45 mins.

Hiked today with my 16 year old son. It was quick with him in the lead. A bit slippery after an overnight rain.

Short but not highly traveled. Dense trees, near a stream. A little hilly with some exposed roots and rocks.

This is our favorite trail in Laurel Hill State Park and probably all of PA.

Clearly marked, although there are multiple options so keep your map handy. The trail is relatively short and has a few uphill sections. The hemlock area is beautiful and definitely worth visiting.

This trail is phenomenal due to the old-growth Hemlock trees that are found about midway through the hike. According to historical record, Laurel Hill State Park was at one time absolutely barren due to logging activity, aside from a small patch of Hemlocks that were preserved (if I remember correctly), which are still there today and are featured along this trail. This trail is worth it just to witness these enormous, old, beautiful trees.

We walked this with our Shiba, it was very dog friendly with water cool down spots for her. The old growth part that loggers didn't get to is enchanting. So different from second growth forests. Would highly recommend this trail.

This is my favorite trail in Laurel Hill SP and is great in any season. The combination of creek and hemlock is peaceful and pretty. Lots of places to pause and enjoy the surroundings.

Hemlock is a lovely trail and it is fairly easy as mentioned by other reviewers. For a longer hike I suggest taking Hemlock and connecting to the Bobcat Trail (easily shown on the map). Two totally different but beautiful trails. Enjoy.

I have hiked this trail in every season, and I try to hike it at least once every year. There is a small stand of old growth Eastern Hemlocks at the north end of the trail, one of which is the largest hemlock I've seen outside the Pacific Northwest. The view of Laurel Hill Creek from the other end of the trail is also very nice. A minor complaint is that I wish the trail was longer. It's such a nice hike that I don't want it to end!
