Very nice trail to a pretty waterfall. Easy hike for all levels except those with disabilities. Nicely wooded.
heed the crowd warnings! nice short walk to pretty falls.

Don't try to follow the black trail lines! Follow the paths that others have taken, which are also the "marked" trails. My path wasn't as crazy as it seems, GPS lost us, however we were scrambling up the hillside through moss and wet rocks.
Easy but rocky! Falls are pretty but kind of tough to get to.
Nice short hike to a pretty waterfall, not too difficult to do 3 1/2 months after foot surgery, very busy though.
short hike and crowded. pretty waterfall where you can get close to the flowing water. views of bridge over the small gorge were nice.
Great for a social hiker, easy going down. Pretty views, very scenic.

Went with laurenzos. Not difficult. Very crowded. Nice waterfall
Too crowded. Lots of dogs (we had our dog as well). Suggest avoiding on a long weekend. Walk was good, falls were nice, kid friendly, but the serenity was ruined by the crowds who didn’t really seem to understand the “enjoying nature” aspect of a hike.

Hiked the hawk falls and the boulder trail, the two entrances are across the street from each other. Cool trails with great scenery, the only downside is that this place gets ridiculously crowded.
This trail was crowded on a Monday afternoon. We included the Orchard Loop Trail to make it a nice length for our kids. Falls are beautiful. Saw some bear tracks and scat, but no bear.
I went around 11am on a Saturday with my 6 yr old, boyfriend and dog. Place was UNBELIEVABLY crowded. Must have seen about 100 people Parking was so full people parked on the road. I couldnt walk more than 10 feet without having to move/make room for people to pass or to fit on the trail. Signs say no swimming but everyone was dragging down bathing suits and towels. When we did get to the falls, couldn't really enjoy them because of all the people who were crowding on it, sadly.

Short, easy trail to do with kids.
A really nice trail! The trick is to go as early as possible to get the falls to yourself.

This trail is pretty easy and quick to complete. However we detoured I to another trail which is probably for someone more experienced. Very nice though!
I would say this trail is more easy than moderate. My wife, two teenage sons, and 8-year-old poodle had no trouble at all navigating the well-marked trail, which is in good condition. The waterfall is lovely and can be accessed from several points. We had packed our lunches so we rested by the falls and enjoyed the cool breeze and scenery. Afterward we continued on the lower portion of the trail along the river through an amazing bower of rhododendrons, which formed an arch over the trail. Hiking back to the parking area is uphill but not too strenuous. The only drawback is that the trail is very popular, so don’t expect to have it to yourself.
nice and easy wall but waaaaaay too busy. actually saw someone bringing in a cooler and pop up canopy today. the guy behind him had some kind of food in a tin foil tray. this is what you can encounter here.
Easy walk with the right shoes for all ages. We brought hiking carrier but would’ve been fine with a soft carrier for toddler. Beautiful falls. Busy trail. Took 30min for us.

Severely crowded.
Very crowded & hard to find parking. A lot people swimming all over the place. It was a hot weekend day. The trail was nice and easy to hike.
Beautiful area, however overcrowded is an understatement. People are constantly partying in the various waterfalls spread out along the trail.
Pretty decent little hike for a state park. While my group was there we ran into the Student Conservation Association taking care of the trails (I.e.- Building stone staircases, re-graveling rock paths, and cleaning up brush). We were there on a sunny Friday morning and it got pretty busy by the falls. The view was awesome and although it says no swimming, almost every single person came in with a swimming suit and towels. Brace yourself if you decide to go in, the water is freezing!
Okay

Went on a Saturday around 2 pm. It was a great little hike but very very crowded. We could even take a picture of the waterfall there were so many people around it. There’s also a lot of other small places to access the water which were less crowded and our dog loved.
