This is a great place to hike, especially in the Fall season. Colten Point is a more rugged trail, I recommend proper hiking shoes.

There are two trails at the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon: Otter View Trail and Turkey Trail. Otter View is a .6 mile loop with some steep sections. It features a scenic overlook that shows the canyon and a pretty cool abandoned incinerator in the woods. This trail is safe for kids and dogs. Turkey Trail is a 1 mile out and back (2 miles total) that goes to Pine Creek at the bottom of the gorge. It features many gorgeous waterfalls. I would not recommend taking children or dogs on this trail due to some very steep sections near cliffs. My boyfriend and I had a blast on this trail, however!

Meant to get a preview of the wood type there and for another view of the canyon. Steep at one or two parts but nothing serious at all. A short and casual hike.
