Awesome trail! Lots of rock climbing opportunities and some challenging hill climbs. The tower is a perfect reward at the end of the trail for a great view and some fresh air. I will be returning.

Super cool trail, completely empty. I would recommend having a map with you as it is easy to get turned around with the many crossings. There was a bouldering spot on this trail about half way through (3.5 miles in) & The whole trail ended up being 5.3 miles,

While it was a good hike, it does not take you to the observation tower. It also is close to 7 mi long.

HikingGreat!

This is a suburban trail as there is noise from traffic most of the way around. The trail does offer a variety from open woods to rock gardens some with giant boulders. There are some class A mountain bike features that probably brings riders on the weekends. Use the app as you have to change trails often which are numbered as you complete the loop. The Spotted Lantern Fly is present in the park and we all should learn about the dangers of this dangerous invasive pest. Also, this trail does NOT go to the Observation tower and after a 7 mile trek we did not hike up the gravel road that leads the masses to the tower. This trail should be renamed.

Nice varieties of trails for different skill levels. We were glad that the observation tower was open again. Great views from the top!

It was fine but it wasn’t very difficult there are a lot of trails in the Governor Dick trail head, the all trails app helped.

HikingGreat!

Large trees, and larger boulders. I have hiked at least once per week since March, and this may be the most beautiful hike yet. It is Rocky in places, but still ok for good sneakers. Trail path does not have you climbing over boulders. The history of the area is interesting and the old growth large trees are beautiful. There are many trails in this park, it it is difficult to stay on this exact loop , despite nice instructions someone put on this page. I suggest picking up their trail map at environmental center and compare to all trails before heading out. I will be back to explore some more.

Good trail. Southern half from Educational Center to route 72 is rocky and through rocks, very pretty. It would be very technical for trail running or mountain biking. Northern half from route 72 back to Educational Center is much easier. Overall 6.2 miles and an easy trail.

Total trail took about 6 miles. It was a scenic trail through the woods but was very rocky and was windy moving back and forth through the forest. There was not a waterfall, but mostly just boulders, trees, and a few cabins. The trail was marked but we were turned around a few times and had to look at the app to make sure we were still on the trail.

I am giving it a 4 just because I wasn’t able to do the tower. Once it opens back up I will surely do a new review. Also moderate is very accurate, there’s a decent incline on this trail. I entered by the Environmental Center. All in all very good trail but I would advise to wear at least trail sneakers/boots with good support, I didn’t and I regretted it after.

Well- kept trails with interesting large boulders. We shared the loop with bikers and runners, who were all courteous and respectful of distancing.
