This was a pretty good hike. Solid climb at the beginning and then downhill on the other side of the mountain. When you cross the footbridge look for the road directly after. Left takes you where the recorded trail is. I followed this to the second loop section and lost the trail at the top of the hill. There are many markers which is where I got turned around. It’s a little confusing. I followed orange tape back to the road and back. The real view opens up at the reservoir. There’s a nice view of the water as well as the hill you just climbed. The little park on the way back is super nice.

a decent loop. 'goat path' comes from the thin trail on the steep mountain side. not much of a nature watching trail but worth a quick hike. about 2 hours

Okay trail. Definitely a "goat path" of a climb up the first hill. Had to stop several times to catch my break on the way up.

Solid amount of ascent. Nice trail run in the area.

incredible views, but there is almost no flatground the entire hike. trail isn't maintained and the entire hike is a scramble up large rocks. Still enjoyable but be sure to wear proper foot gear and go on a dry day. be alert for snakes.
