I’m lucky because this trail is only 10 mins from my home ...... I adore this park. There’s so many little trails that you can explore. Fabulous view of the water and the park rangers are fabulous. Lots of fishing in the summer - I take my kayak out there also to Chambers Lake. My dogs love the hike, I love the area, and many of us locals walk there daily all year long.

A muddy, flat buggy mess. Also, too many people patrolling the area.
You feel like you’re doing something wrong the whole time.

As for the rest of the park? Don’t do this. Don’t do that. Everywhere a sign!

Some trails need better markings. Not crowded at all. Parts are easy, but does have some moderate trails.

Tried this trail when i was camping at koa. I guess the drive was a bit long from my camp ground and thats why im giving it a low rating.

few trails, none challenging, you can only really get into the woods for a couple miles. I go here when I don't have time to drive to someplace else. Good place to bring kids, has some letterboxes, interesting events throughout the year.

While other review said it wasn't challenging for hiking there is a strong diversity when trail running

It takes some getting used to because there are only a few trails but there are a number of off-shoot trails. We are able to easily put together a number of trails to create a 4 mile loop. While the terrain itself is fairly calm there are some good climbs and distance climbs that will challenge any runner.

You can also run the Rim trail but the markings are week and it's easy to spend your time back tracking trying to find your way. It's a nice trail once you figure it out but it's very rocky, so you need to watch the step. The final section is very difficult to run down due to loose rock, dirt and it's steep.

There is enough diversity to keep you guessing and trying something new tomorrow.

Hibernia County Park is a Chester County Park. There are a number of trails here, from very short up to a few miles. All of the trails I encountered were graded and gravelled, and some are paved and suitable for wheelchairs.

While not challenging, this is a great place to take someone unfamiliar with hiking, or small children to get them use to trails. Don't expect anything too challenging.

The trail near Brandywine Creek is especially beautiful. However there are picnic sites nearby so do not expect quiet.

Trail map for the park is available in PDF here: http://dsf.chesco.org/ccparks/lib/ccparks/hibernia/hcp_trail_map_2.2.pdf
