Great hike and amazing view for the most park until about a mile in when my family and I encountered an average sized black bear. We turned around and did not complete the trail.

One of the more challenging trails in Hickory Run due to the elevation changes and terrain. We heard many song birds along the initial mile of the trail and encountered multiple chipmunks. We also came across fallen trees that completely blocked the trail as well as several wet areas. But overall, Fireline was rough but enjoyable trail.

Great view and a challenging hike, trail needs a bit more maintenance, but I guess that's what makes it difficult.

Up and down a mountain trail, with a beautiful vista view of the Lehigh Gorge.
