Surrounded by suburbia, Fall Run is nestled in a wooded ravine carved by the stream by the same name. Wooden bridges cross the stream several times and a set of wooden stairs lead you from the base to the top of the 30-foot waterfall just north of the trail mid-point. The trail is generally wide and smooth, but can be muddy in wet weather. The stream itself is shallow and easily accessible at many points, including near the main fall and on hot summer days there are often children splashing in it.

Park is closed during construction. 30 min drive to get here so pretty disappointed. Hope this stops someone else. :)

Pretty nice trail. Some of the bridges need repair however you can always walk the creek bed.

Many bridges were broken. Fine for adults, a little challenging for younger kids.

the stairs to above the falls are very dangerous.

Contains the only real waterfall in Allegheny County.

Most of the bridges are damaged or washed out, so you have to hop stones across the stream as the trail crosses it several times. A couple of the bridges are still passable.

was a very nice and rather scenic trail. unfortunately, a lot of trash all around the stream. a lot of the bridges have been washed out or damaged, but if the water is low enough, you can cross through the stream.

this is very easy and meant for a short walk with a dog or maybe with your girlfriend to share a few moments together.
