Great trail if you don't mind a little road noise. It gets a little elevated about a mile and a half in. Nothing incredibly strenuous.

I took three of my kids on their very first trail run today. We all enjoyed the trails, they are clearly marked, and offer some challenging climbs. My youngest took a little tumble and got a couple of scratches but she got right up and kept going. They all appreciated the scenery and want to do it again.

ok suburban trail. too close to route 22 and construction yard (loud). wish this was better mapped in app so I could avoid highway-side trails. fun little trail run.

Great little hike. First half was very flat and gravel. Second half takes you up some muddy, steep inclines which were unexpected but very easily navigated. A few areas didn’t match the park maps provided at the picnic area but nothing too major. The park maps have tree descriptions that match signs found throughout the trails. My children enjoyed that education tidbit. Be advised part of the trail at the top of the hill hasn’t been blazed just yet but there are two other very obvious trail options that serve as easy bypass. Will definitely return. Had a great day!

Many options, indeed! Today, I did Trillium-Fernwood-Funk-Forbes-Sumac-Scullcap-Black Cohosh-Trillium-Wake Robin-Round Top-Bloodroot-Trillium for a little over 4 miles. A little muddy in places, but nothing difficult. Highway noises are always there, but what else would you expect in Murrysville? My favorite spots are the ravines you cross on Black Cohosh and, of course, Round Top. Very well marked and well benched. A lot of nice people, too! Also, this is a great place to test out gear in wet or cold conditions before you venture out into more remote locations. You're never too far away from the road back.

Great trail with tons of options. Some steeper areas and muddy, but hey, it's PA. What do you expect?

Duff is a great trail for short, steep hiking and trail running. I generally do a different loop, Bloodroot, Roundtop, Wake Robin, Fernwood, Forbes, Black Cohosh and back up to Round Top. Comes out around 4 miles.
