Worlds End State Park

Double Run, East Branch, Loyalsock and Canyon Vista Trails Loop is a 5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Forksville, Pennsylvania that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and running and is best used from April until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The East Branch Trail is an addition to Worlds End State Park. Yellow blazed, it starts at the stream crossings of the Double Trail. This trail provides the ability to do a loop from the park to Mineral Spring and Mineral Spring Falls, which is where the East Branch Trail Ends and then the Loyalsock Trail to the Canyon Vista.

Nice hike but beware that after you cross the road (going clockwise) the trail will go up across rocks, not on a clearly traveled path. Be sure to look for & follow the yellow rectangle with horizontal red line blaze markings. They are there but it will take you up across rocks until you hook up with a more established trail. Overall a very nice trail.

Nice 1 hour loop trail. Left side of loop can be steep and slippery in parts so best to go up versus down. Right side of loop is very pretty with multiple waterfalls. I did trail clockwise around leaving pretty section for second half.

Easy hike with kids. Look for the trail guide on the back of the sign in the parking area. The numbered signs are interesting for kids and adults to follow and read.
