The Deleware River Canal State Park from Uhlerstown to Lumberville has the smooth, even surface common to the entire canal towpath. The best scenery along this section is the Delaware River itself Should you want to make a loop of the trip, cross the pedestrian only bridge at Lumberville over Bulls Island and join the Delaware and Ruritan Canal North to Frenchtown. After crossing the bridge continue south on Rt. 32 a short way and turn left just before the covered bridge. This will take you back to Tinicum Park for a loop of almost 17 miles.
