This trail was fantastic! Very scenic, lots to see. Not at all difficult to walk, although it has a decent amount of roots. Not too long, goes in a full loop which is great. Trail is easily marked and easy to follow. I can't wait to take my 8 year old sister here. Superb.

Grew up camping at Promised Land State Park, Conservation Island has always been a fun place to explore.
Today was a chilly cloudy day, it was peaceful and quite. Active Beavers took down a few trees. Tails are marked very well and there is an optional trail to walk along the water.

Perfect quick hike if you have small children. Lush with ferns and giant rhododendrons. Flat terrain.

A nice quick hike very easy to do. Very scenic. In season, it is full of blackberries & huckleberries. In winter, have done a snowshoe hike with some beginners. Plenty of benches around the loop to sit with hot cocoa & enjoy the scenery.
