Good Views of the Susquehanna and Wildlife This Trail is part of a "cross-county" trail system in Lancaster County. The trail system connects the Turkey Hill Trail to the north. This section includes about a mile of hiking on railroad tracks. This out and back section does take you up a steep hill to overlooks of the river, and a nice crossing of the Tucquan Creek. This section of the trail is an up and down hike through the creek valleys back to the tracks, and back up to the Pinnacle overlook. If you plan to hike this, definitely pick up a trail system map at the overlook, and keep eyes open for the orange blazes.

Water level is high! To cross streams, we just walked through the stream! It was a pleasant sunny spring day, so no biggie!

Challenging but worth it. Saw a mature bald eagle and many native wildflowers. Kelly’s Run is a beautiful stream.

Amazing trail, took us about 6 hours for the whole thing! On the way back, a bunch of large and small trees had fallen over, hiding part of the trail! A lot of the trees that fell down had the orange markings so be careful! Overall, we strongly recommend!!

Not sure if my GPS was fully correct. I think it was closer to 8 miles. Started at Kelly's Run then ended at Wind Caves. Very nicely blazed. Several rocky spots. Lots of up and down. Beautiful to see the signs of spring everywhere.

Pretty nice trail with a good bit of rock scramble and enough climbing to get your heart pumping. I just did this small portion of this from a little trailhead with a 3 car lot near Kelly’s run. Took the orange markings on the way up to pinnacle overlook. Worth it!

3 stars, because after 3 attempts and striking out, I doubt I would do it again. A friend and I started at the Wind Cave and planned to hike to the Pinnacle Outlook. Instead, we made it as far as Tacquan Glen and bailed out and took the tracks back. The trail is nothing short of HARD. Beautiful views of the river!

My 2nd Time tackling this trail. It is beautiful! I only made it from Pinnacle Point to the Tacquan Glenn trails. It is not an easy trail!

It was easy to get off trail if I didn't check the map frequently.

it is hard to find the trail at times. It is a slow hike in some areas where are trees that have fell or rocks that you have to climb up and down from to find the trail. the view at the overlook is beautiful but you can drive up there if you want to avoid the trail search.

Great scenery, small waterfalls, several creek crossings, decent elevation change. Watch the wet rocks around the creek. Nice for a less humid day.
