Conestoga Greenway Trail is a 2.6 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Lancaster, Pennsylvania that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips.
A wonderful paved, and shaded riverside adventure. Enjoy! Accessibility: This asphalt, cement, and stone trail is estimated to typically be at least 6 feet wide. The slope is estimated to be mostly gentle (all 5% grade or less). There are 2 designated handicapped-accessible parking spaces with a striped access aisle at the very small paved trailhead lot.
This is a nice, flat, paved trail that follows the Conestoga River.
Just the usual, but it was a beautiful day. The dogs got their exercise, a little climb at the end, all is well.
This is our usual trail, circuit from our house. It’s nice and easy and great for clearing the mind in the middle of the day
Traveling meticulously along the rivers edge. The search begins...
Perfect trail for running and walking but so much trash :( and the smell is not nice at parts. I have made it my personal goal to clean it up. We got from the S Duke lot to the S Broad lot today just picking up trash alongside the trail and we had 2 full bags. We will be back with grabbers ;)
It was overall a nice trail with a good combination of country and city views. It would be good for a short bike ride. The trail is a nice addition to the community, and it is peaceful being by the creek.
Decided to add this trail to part of my early morning run yesterday. Enjoyed the view and also saw several deer. Was startled by a homeless man sleeping under the bridge. I did have pepper spray with me, and if you’re planning on enjoying this trail would highly recommend doing it with a friend .
Flat boring river on one side, junky apartments and sewage pit on the other. Skip it.
NIce paved trail, along the river/stream. Flat the whole way.
