The trail is 50% crushed gravel and 50% grass. You wouldn't want to do this run in the rain. It would be too slippery.

The trail was in the woods and circled a gorgeous reservoir. At 6 AM there was no one else on the trail besides me.

Came here for a hike but it was so easy it was more of a walk. Very calm atmosphere. Informational posts to read as well as some benches to relax. Nobody on the trail but me it seemed. Huge parking and park area for picnicking, grilling, etc.

Edit: This is the same trail as the Montour Preserve that circles the lake.

Mostly gravel path with gentle, small slopes. Not very difficult. About 4 miles long. Plenty of parking.

A very nice and clean trail that goes around the lake. Gravel and dirt is mostly what it is composed of. It is good for hiking or running, IMO. The whole area around the Montour Preserve is really lovely for biking, boating, hiking, or running... Bring the family over for a picnic or a nature hike. :-) I did take some time out to look at the flowers and the surrounding nature inthe area aswell...
