This was a great short hike that took me about an hour. The only downside was a few flooded spots and parts of it exhibit road noise.

very challenging climb to start the trail (unless you go the other way) but worth it. peaceful forest trail with a mix of trees and undergrowth, a few views through the trees but nothing wide open.

Pretty easy up until the top, when it gets a little more challenging, steep, & narrow. Super quiet, especially up on the Charcoal Hearths section. Hiked it with my dog and we had a great time. Didn’t encounter any other hikers, but saw lots of awesome trees, fungi, and rocks.

Steep walk up both sides of the trail, flat and easy once to the top. Not much to look at except Pine trees, but nice and quiet.

Nice flat trail along the bottom and top, but the up and down on either side is deceptively hard and narrow.
