The Chapel Trail is a lightly-trafficked 3.97 out & back trail located in Valley Forge National Park. This tree-lined trail is mostly flat and follows alongside train tracks for the first half. It also passes by an old cemetery, eventually climbing to views of the Schuylkill River before ending at Washington's Headquarters.

I only went one way from Washingtons headquarters to the visitors center. in the beginning there was a steep part that wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't raining. Otherwise it was a very pretty relaxing walk along the river/train tracks.

While not especially interesting on its own, I use this trail to create longer out & backs with the Mt. Joy, Mt. Misery, and Valley Creek trails. While there's a few short ups & downs, the Chapel Trail remains mostly flat and shaded, making for a leisurely stroll through the woods.
