Great, quiet trail that was perfect for my dogs. Only saw a few other people and the trail was easy to figure out. Was able to stop a few times and let the pups play in the creek.

Beautiful, quick and easy trail. #1 pick for a quick hour to burn outside.

This park is practically my backyard. Nice for getting away from town. This trail is slightly rocky, but mostly dirt. Lots of foliage and an aerial view of the creek in the valley below.

Did the trail with my 4 year old today. Did the lower portion on the way out and the upper on the way back. Beautiful and perfect for kids because of the creek. It says 1.5 miles, but the log showed 2.0 when we were done with all the side trails.

Great for a short, scenic hike. You walk along the stream and then on the loop back you walk at a higher elevation, overlooking everything.

Nice for all. Upper loop moderately steep but if you want to avoid it you can just do in and out.

Great trail for the kids

Pretty trail but we missed the gorge. I think we needed to take the sharp uphill left after the 2nd bridge. We continued straight and ended up on private property.

nice trails. fun Creek hikes.

Staying on the lower level of the gorge trail makes for an easy run.. take it up a notch by looping around to the left after the second suspension bridge and head up the hill! Killer leg workout!

Nice little trail.

Nice secluded trail, you can take some off the trail paths to make it a little harder.

nice trail. a little difficult on the back end but it was great scenery!

Nice trail! very muddy with all the rain! Make sure to wear the right footwear- we saw people in flip flops and bare feet ankle deep in mud!! When you get towards the end, the trail takes a turn to difficult when you try and climb down to the falls. It is basically a vertical drop. Impossible to navigate with children - we were bummed. But still a 5 star trail!

Mountain biking a little rough on this trail. More of hiking trail. Steps to the bridges made it a little tricky on the bike

Just completed this today following a snow storm in 6-8 inches of snow. The first half along the creek was level and very pretty with all the snow and icicles along the gorge. After the second suspension bridge I made a left up the hill to complete the loop which in the snow was a little grueling but not bad. The view from the top of the gorge was well worth the climb although as other have mentioned it can be hard to find the trail. Once at the open field I was able to find red circular blazes just past a no motorized vehicles sign and found my way back to the car. The last hundred yards or so is a steep descent but even in the snow I got down it now problem. The entire loop as I did it is actually 4 miles not what's listed here. Surprisingly nice and scenic area for a county park, would recommend it to anyone.

not marked well, pretty little trail runs along the cedar creek

Scenic short hike especially during Spring when Cedar Creek is flowing swiftly and the wildflowers are in bloom. First segment of the hike, the trail follows Cedar Creek upstream and is flat with two suspension bridge crossings. Upon crossing the second bridge the trail begins a climb up the ridge to return you back to where you started. This section of trail is a bit more rugged with scenic views of the valley and stream and the trail you were just on. Numerous trails branch off onto a farm above, stay alert to remain on main trail. No signage or blaze marks to guide you. End of this segment is a steep downgrade slope back to the parking area.

Great scenery. Can be a bit buggy during the summer hours. Mid spring offers more blooms than one can count. Right along the GAP biking trail and near some camping sites as well as towns to stock for through hiking/biking. A good lay-over hike while on the Allegany Passage.

This is a very nice little trail that I've hiked more times than I can remember. The scenery in Cedar Creek Gorge is much prettier than you'd expect for a trail in a county park. Staying on the lower part of the loop makes the trail and easy out-and-back. Scenery along the lower part of the loop includes Cedar Creek and the gorge walls. Including the upper part of the loop in your hike adds some difficulty, especially after a rain when the trail is muddy, and provides views of the creek below. To make the hike a bit longer, park at the organized group campground in the park and follow the Youghiogheny River Trail west to the gorge trail. This makes the round trip about three miles.

Always a fun trail...Kids love it!

Not a bad trail, biggest problem, no trail markings. There were many atv trails, and random trails going off from this one. No markings on any, so getting lost is easy. What we hiked was good, just needs signs.
