Beautiful views of the snow and the river. Be prepared for a mix of packed snow and ice, and if you do the entire loop be ready for some areas of a foot or more of snow too.

Steep to begin with, we took a lot of breaks. Amazing views when you make it to the top. Also the rocks in the forest were super cool looking.

Extremely icy trail on narrow path next to steep drops. Be careful! Bring crampons and ice axe. Start trail early!

First time traveling the 2.5 hours to visit World’s End. Enjoyed the trail. My kids (5 and 7) loved all the snow and the huge icicles on the rocks. Conditions were definitely precarious at times with the ice and packed snow. Our dog did great and had no issues at all. Several sections our kids had to “sled” down on their back sides to avoid falls. My husband and I had traction coils on and had no issues. But Right now I’d agree with previous poster that you should consider the conditions before bringing small children, unless they’re experienced hikers. Disappointed that the last half mile was along road where cars go extremely fast. Pleased to find restrooms were open at park office.

Please read for your safety! Completed this trail 12/30 and it was very icy. The majority of the trail is narrow and runs along the edge of a cliff. Be very careful, bring ice spikes if you have them and I would avoid taking young children on this loop in its current condition. Besides the ice it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the majority of the trail. Happy Hiking!

An absolute beauty. A little late for the best colors but still pretty sweet! Definitely some steep climbs and descents. Loved it!

HikingGreat!

The parking area that AllTrails map takes you is closed. Park at Double Run and take the LoyalSock trail to the fork then hit Canyon Vista. With the leaves covering the rocks it’s not as easy to judge the rocks on the trail especially after a rain. The fall foliage has passed but it’s still beautiful views with beautiful colors too. Definitely would love to do it again.

Loved this trail! Well marked, beautiful surroundings. Some areas were slippery because it rained yesterday (I didn't have hiking shoes on) other than that it was an easy hike. We went counter clockwise like some suggested. Lot of people were out today, we had to stop more than a few times to let people pass by. It has 3 beautiful vistas, I'm definitely going to do this trail again!

Great trail. We went counter clockwise. Didn't think the descent was bad. Quite a few people on it. Varied terrain. We added the Cold Run Loop.

HikingGreat!

Gorgeous hike in the fall season. It’s slightly longer than 4mile but not much. Counterclockwise is the best approach IMO. Trail is rated as moderate but I’d say it’s on the light moderate end of the spectrum. Vista is amazing. I would have given 5 stars but the nearby roads create vehicle noise which throws off the zen of nature.
