Blue Bell and Forbidden Drive Loop is a 2.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October.
Quite a few people without masks, including on narrow trails. There were a few places my 6yo was very nervous walking over the huge sewer lines. Def won’t take my 3yo’s on this exact loop.
I love this trail but extremely muddy and many down trees from recent storm.
great little hike through the woods but enough room to space out.
The landscape has been excavated by the recent storm and the normal “fall” of the foliage, making it a wonderfully exposed route to hike.
Easy - some "off the trail" sections which makes it pretty exciting and has lots of markers so it's not hard to get lost!
About 75% of people were wearing masks. Lots of dogs and bikes on the trail.
Trails were clear, people and dogs were friendly, most people were wearing masks. Good morning walk.
Really nice trail. Kept up pretty well too. The bridge was a really cool part and being able to get right up to the water was nice. A little rocky with some tight paths but those parts make it more fun :)
Pretty trail for being inside of a city. Lots of people and only about 1/4 wearing masks
Nice hiking parks with variety of trails for biking, hiking, walking, etc. Whatever one feel like doing. Downside is the lack of Park and trails information, for someone that isn’t familiar with the area it could be a bit of a challenge to get around.
Walked all the way past Kitchens Lane bridge to Levering bridge then back on orange.
A few ups and downs but nice combo of trail and packed dirt drive. Access to river.
