This is a very relaxing, laid-back hike. It is a loop around the lake at Black Moshannon State Park. I hike this every Memorial Day weekend and mosquito around the lake are always terrible so I'd recommend bug spray! Last year on this weekend they were doing a 5K race on this trail, so I'm not sure how often the campground hosts similar events. I'd say hiking it in the Fall would be more ideal but overall it's a very rewarding experience!

Interesting history and the water does look black or very very dark brown almost extremely strong tea. Which is essentially what is happening there, its sadly extremely over populated.
