A great morning walk on well marked and well maintained trails. A lot of trees were recently planted and they were putting in disc golf.

So much noise pollution from the 476!

This is a nice piece of land with many trails to do! Nice walk through the woods. Only downside is that part of the trail is close to 476, so some parts are noisy.

one of my favorites. I've been here so many times and found tons of hidden trails. I think I've hiked here more than anywhere else.

Exceeded my expectations. The trail has a good variation of slightly easy and very difficult trails. Poor signage I went off the trail a couple of times. Trail also doesn’t flow. The trails also don’t have a very good start and end point which can lead to collisions if biking. Overall great trail I am totally going again!

The trail is well kept and not busy. However, it is boring, has pretty steep declines, inclines, and rough patches (not making it “easy”, in our opinion), and brings you against a very loud and busy highway....ugh. If I had to walk here again, I would...but I would not choose it again myself.

I’ve visited a few times but I’m still a bit confused about where the trailheads are. The system is set around a rather high-end planned residential development. I guess I don’t find that aspect too inviting. Anyway, I visited during the time of Covid-19 since I don’t live too far, and the trails were open. It was lovely just to be outside on a spring day after the confinement of the past few weeks. Not too many people, but quite a few dog walkers.

Doesn’t really have any kind of seclusion to it. Houses and cars everywhere and not very peaceful

Trails were nice! More signage would have been great. We definitely got lost a few times. Busy area. Start of trail was in a neighborhood. Bikers, children, and other dogs were seen.

Not really clear enough to do any serious running. Also, maps and markers aren't consistent and parts are overgrown.

A major plus for the trails on Haverford reserve is how close they are. If you are looking to spend an hour or two walking through the woods, then this is the place for you. If you are going to stretch it that long, you have to weave through pretty much all the trails (the are short but heavily interconnected). They are not well marked, but it is such a small area and the trails so loopy it would be hard to get lost. There are a few relatively steep inclines or declines, but they are very short and can easily be avoided if desired. I have seen people trail running, walking their dogs (they should probably be leashed), and with young kids. There is a map posted at most of the trailheads by the rec center. You can snap a pic on your phone.

It's a nice neighborhood trail. It's relatively easy. PECO trail is not bad, but very muddy after a rain. There's a bridge that needs a repair along the PECO/ATHERTYN trail. At this point, you can't pass it unless you are willing to jump.

Pretty nice place to take a stroll. I wore trail runners, however I wish I’d worn something with more ankle support, as there are rocks and tree roots everywhere. You’ll be reminded you aren’t in the wilderness when you see neighboring houses occasionally, and hear the Blue Route during a portion of the trail.

I like these trails. There's a nice variety of lengths, terrain, and comfort levels, so it's your call on how tough or long you day is. There could be a couple more signposts and blazes, but it doesn't ruin the day or anything.

The Southside trail is paved for the first 1/4 of the trail. Then it turns into gravel for a bit and then into dirt. Good for a short hike with a stroller! .5 mile in and a .5 mile out. The park has a huge playground as well.

I've gone hiking here dozens of times now and I'm pleased to always be finding new trails. There are trails that aren't even on their maps but I love finding them. It's also great for bringing kids along if they're about 5 or up.

The trails are easy but not very well marked. It gets confusing in some parts to the point where you're thankful you aren't deeper in nature and in a position to get truly lost.

Very scenic & relaxing. Felt like you were in a far off forest despite being close to the city. My only critique is that the loop wasnt marked too well & it was semi difficult knowing where we were. Im sure a 2nd visit would help to understand the trail better.
