This trail can get pretty muddy for the couple miles leading up to the overlook, but is definitely scenic with several streams along the way (probably better in the spring/summer). The overlook provides decent view with a cool rock bench.

Nice hike this past Sunday. It wasn't foggy at the bottom but very thick fog up at the top so I'll have to go back to see the overlook. This trail was pretty smooth and less rocks than when I'm used to on the AT in PA. Fairly level until the last half mile or so. Easy parking.

Nice walk through woods and uphill to look-out. The stop for the view has stone 'bench' and is a good place to sit. View is nice - not spectacular, but nice. Absolutely beautiful examples of fungi along the trail.
