Appalachian Trail Along Blue Mountain Ridge is a 24.8 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Pine Grove, Pennsylvania that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from April until November.
A great trail for beginners
To the northeast is great to walk! But to the southwest is just awful. There is one lookout next to an abandoned power line. This is not a very interesting part of the AT and it grows very thick with shrubbery in the middle of the summer. You can't see where you are walking.
