Great family trail — easy, and nice to spend some time in woods and some in the open (though mostly overgrown) meadow. Pretty muddy when we were there, so I’m glad we had our hiking boots.

Excellent short trail, a little elevation change but still easy, opens up to a gorgeous peaceful meadow, little educational placards around, always a little busy but never packed, lovely short hike with a few possible variations. Haunting and wonderful gigantic beech tree. Views of Chestnut Hill College and the Wissahickon Valley. Fun and short and accessible.

WalkingGreat!

A bit muddle but nice isolated woods, with well defined trails.

pretty easy and relatively scenic route. overall flat with a small amount of incline in the beginning, very manageable! and the meadow is very pretty and a nice change of scenery from the rest of the part. only downside was some horse droppings by the meadow, but not a big deal in my opinion!

Peaceful and quiet, lovely meadow and forrest views. We did cross paths with some other hikers but thought it seemed pretty empty for a Sunday.

This short little trail is one of my favourite spots in the Wissahickon. It is never crowded and it is very peaceful. I just love a meadow that surfaces from a wooded path.

Well maintained and not at ask crowded even though there on a weekend. Most of the walk was shaded and interesting old growth beeches etc. recommend
