Allegheny Highlands Trail - Confluence to Ft. Hill is a 7.1 mile point-to-point trail located near Confluence, Pennsylvania and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and mountain biking and is best used from March until May. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Terminus of the Rail Trail along the Cassleman River. (7 miles) The first thing you will notice is the trail sign as you leave Confluence that states "No cell phone service next 30 miles". They are not kidding about that but it not as remote as it seems.You are not too removed from civilization, you just can't call them on the phone. The TOPO!
