Downed trees and poison everywhere. I’ve hiked somewhere close to 50 trails. This one was the worst. The views weren’t great and the path became practically non-existent halfway there definitely not 1 hour round trip due to this. Do yourself a favor and find a different trail. Waste of time.

This is a very difficult hike , if you are adventurous this is certainly for you . It says it’s close but it didn’t stop anyone from going ( be careful , park rangers won’t want you going there ) . The entrance is a bit down the highway you will see it to your right , it’s not where the maps leads you . It’s a bit of a incline once you start walking . The only problem is that since there was a storm a few years ago the path is not so visible as you go deep into the hike . You will have to improvise to how to get to the fall . It’s totally worth the hike though . I recommend you to bring water shoes because at one point is easier just to cross through the water . Once you go towards the end you will see the small waterfall , but that’s not the main water falls all thought is pretty nice you can totally take a dip . If you want to see the big water fall you will have to climb up , there is a tree and then follow the water or either go around . Me and my friend went though the water since it’s easier , then going around . You will definitely see the water fall and omg is amazing . It’s totally worth the hike . I guarantee that you would love it .

Friend went recently, said the trail in is almost impassable because of downed trees. There are ways around for people who really want to see it but the main trail is probably blocked. The falls themselves also have quite a few trees down around the area as well as a few down up by where people dive from. Ropes to swing and get up look to have been cut as well. This is normally a moderate trail with a few creek crossings and a climb near the end up some rocks to get to the falls. Takes about 45 minutes or so to walk from the parking lot to the falls. I believe it is technically closed but I don't know how often rangers patrol so enter at your own risk

This trail is NOT moderate! The first portion is no problem, getting to the waterfall pictured is INTENSE! This was one hell of a climb down and back up! Well worth the hike given the beautiful fall and swimming hole, but, this was a HIKE!!
