Enjoyable hike. Lots of fallen trees to step over and had to let mountain bikers pass but neither were a problem for me.
Intended to hike a different route, but I came across a side trail with a baby water crossing ... I couldn't resist!
this trail is probably great for hiking, but for mountain biking, whoever maintains it needs to take it off their resume. this trail loves wood more than a pornstar claims to with how many logs and fallen trees are used as "obstacles" 75% of which I bottomed out on my 29er with an XL frame. not to mention that they're thrown in immediately after blind turns or steep climbs. logs are a great obstacle when spread out, this was ridiculous. no markers, so good luck finding your way out at the bottom. and I know to wear a helmet but that's supposed to be in case I wreck, not because fallen trees are sitting so low that if I'm not chest to handlebars I'll get to count Tweety birds for the next 10 minutes. also as of today at least (9/6) when I went, there's a massive tree thicker than my bike is tall across the path making you have to swaddle your bike in one of those chest carriers for babies and climb your sorry self over it. maybe it's great for hiking, maybe the switchbacks and blind turns aren't as bad for smaller bikes, all I know is it was miserable and can't wait to never do it again
Nice nature trail. Blow down tree, so you cannot fully complete. Was followed by a lovely little fox that also practiced social distancing
Hiked with my dog. I enjoyed this trail a lot. It’s off the beaten path for hikers. There are a few mountain bikers. The trails listed online are little off and we got lost a few times, but only in the sense of going the opposite direction we intended. The noise of the expressways are in the background half the time. There are no streams for dogs to drink out of.
Heads up to get past the part of the street you have to go up the steps on top of the bridge.
Perfect long-distance mostly flat running trail. All paved, but you can also run in the grass on the sides at times. Beautiful bridges and water to view while you run. 8.5 miles all the way around the loop.
