I did this last week. Absolutely gorgeous little walk. Besides a quick detour through a neighborhood, you are pretty much next to the ocean the whole time. Be careful as there are signs posted warning that the cliffs are unstable so don’t get too close to the water.
Absolutely gorgeous views from this trail! Had a lovely sunny break in weather to hike this with our 12 year old standard poodle. This was easy and flat with plenty of spots to go down to the rocks although I do advise caution, especially if you have small children. One could easily get swept off the rocks if not paying attention. I expect in the summer this is extremely busy and there’s not much parking available.
Simple and easy hike to see nice views. The rocks are fun to walk on but really stinky!!
Now open... More of a path than a Trail. Unless you go off the path. This is a great place to explore, picnic, sit a chill, and watch the waves break against the rocks. Go toward high tide and it gets impressive. Stormy season is probably even better. Watch out for sneaker waves! * No Parking fee. * GPS works. * Vault toilets.
beautiful evening walk/hike along the 804 trail .. which also happens to be part of the Oregon Coast Trail. perfect sunset with my dogs.
