Secluded in a tranquil forest setting, a beautiful two-tiered waterfall tumbles over rock cliffs to a pool below. The upper falls drops 75 feet and the lower falls drops 50 feet. Water flows vary from full-fan in spring to a narrowed spout in late summer. The first half mile of the trail is wheelchair accessible.

Amazingly beautiful hike!! Slight elevation at the end when near the falls, just keep going! Perfect for dogs too. Wonderfully maintained and bridges to cross. Strollers not suggested, unless you have another adult to help lift it over logs. You can swim at the bottom of the falls.

Not as easy as it is rated in our opinion . Mostly uphill but not too steep . completely worth the hike when u get to the waterfall . it’s yet another gorgeous oregon waterfall!

Great trail for everyone! Lots of dogs and you can access both pools at both falls. the first pool had a really steep entry point. The primary pool (second pool) is just amazingly clear and worth a dip.

Nice and easy hike. The water fall was unique in that it has carved out grooves in the rock to flow down from.

I went during early spring in the morning shortly after sunrise. Everything was mildly wet and as the sun rose higher and started to warm the air I could see a misty fog coming from all plant life. I had never seen anything like this and found it to be quite mystical because the trail itself leads you into what feels like a fantasy Forrest. Along the way are towering sequoia, ferns and trees covered in long strands of lichen. All along the path is little river in which you follow to the end of the trail to a double tiered waterfall. It’s a fairly simple hike with a nice incline at the end. During spring I recommend water proof shoes as the water from the river bellows over the path and can get quite muddy. During summer the canopy of trees keeps it cool and the temperature is quite tolerable. During the fall it takes a new shape of the color changing leaves and I have yet to experience it during the winter. It is a beautiful drive to get there and promise you won’t be disappointed!

Great trail for beginners. There was one spot towards the end that got a little steep and may be hard for some people. Beautiful scenery the whole way and not too much traffic. Will definitely be doing again!

Great first hike for our two pups. It was beautiful and had some great spots along the trail for them to enjoy the water. There was a lot of poison oak at the start of the trail but it did not last long.

It was such a beautiful trail that runs through a lush forest. Basically had the whole trail to myself except for one other person. The falls are beautiful, too!!

Awesome hike. Easy and dog friendly. It was a little crowded but I’m sure that had a lot to do with the fact that it is Memorial Day. There are a couple of mildly steep hills towards the end but overall a great and relaxing hike.

Hiked this tons. Always a favorite. Last time I came it was closed. It must be reopened now. I was shown a cave off this trail a few summers ago, don’t know if I could find it again. Love the bridge at the entrance. Nothing beats North Umpqua hiking!
