Highly recommend!! This trail’s got it all— bridges, greenery, waterfalls, creeks, and an abandoned witch’s home! There is a bit of incline on the way back on the trail, fair warning. Halfway through you get to a neighborhood with GORGEOUS homes, a nice lil’ break.

I would recommend this trail to anyone looking for a moderate to hard 2 hours of hiking. The beginning and last third are very easy with a lot of uphill hiking in the middle. Pretty heavily trafficked area that is very scenic and safe.

Gorgeous trail, pretty muddy with incline & decline throughout. Snails, slugs, spiders, bees and lots of beautiful flowers!

This trail is incorrect and is NOT a loop. It is an in and out trail. I had to do a lot of back and forth , following the gps to stay on the trail..that added 2 extra miles to hike. The options to stay on the loop are non existent. When you arrive at a junction, I tried all options, with non of them keeping me on the map. When I walked through neighborhood...both directions, it did not show me as being on the trail.

Nice, easy walk. There are a lot of stairs when you get to the neighborhood area and part of the trail felt like it was going onto people's property. Still, overall very nice.

Another beautiful trail. This one is pretty easy. Went to check out the famous Witch's Castle and it was pretty packed but people were friendly enough to let you take a photo without interruption.

cool, but you literally have to walk through a neighborhood. like, on the street.

I'm not sure if the Stone House (a.k.a- Witch's Castle) was worth it. It had tons of graffiti all over it and I couldn't even take any pictures. After the Stone House, we did part of the Lower Macleay trail. It was a nice trail and a good workout. There were lots of people on these trails when we went.

It’s a pretty manicured trail for being dirt and hiking terrain. It had a couple muddy spots in early April 2019, however mostly clear. Lots of runners, hikers and a few with dogs were on the trails earlier this month.

Too busy and too many people / children. felt more like a nice walk in a populated park than a forest hike. Beautiful trail though!

Beautiful trail along the creek. Moderately trafficked. Cool stone structure known as Witch’s Castle.
