It was a great and easy hike. Trail was dry and there was plenty of room to maneuver around other people.

Mountain bikingGreat!

What can I say, it's Forest Park and one of my favorite places to ride my bike in Portland.

Great out today, no mud, a nice big salamander, and cool. Few bugs, mostly just flys nbd. Today is a good day to hit this trial. I recommend taking Cannon to Wildwood. Wildwood down about 4-5 miles down to ridge then ridge to the bridge view. Then ridge back up to Erikson then Erikson back. About 8 miles and change. Full view of Mt Hood and Mt St Helens!!

We did this in reverse, Leif to Wildwood to cotton. That made it a loop for us back to the parking area, about 4 miles. Leif was totally flat but once we hit Wildwood it was up hill for a bit. Nice trail, not a ton of people. Very lush and relaxing. What a great place to have in the city! #plussizehiker

Great easier hike. We enjoyed this more than Washington park. Muddy but that’s to be expected.

Did this on a rainy morning on Memorial Day. Surprisingly not too crowded. Trail was muddy but it very lush and beautiful.

I would say this is an easy hike, not moderate. Light traffic until the second half of the loop. Decent hike, not much to look at.

I gave this trail a five star review base on how it compares to other hikes extremely close to the city of Portland. My partner described it perfectly as a “vigorous stroll”. Loved the foliage & wasn’t as crowded as we expected from the state of the parking lot.

Enjoyable trail though I dispute it being rated as “Moderate”. More moderate, leaning towards easy.

Totally doable on a wet Sunday with limited time. Enjoyed taking the Tolinda Trail down and back up to Germantown for some good cardio.
