Way too many people. It was during Covid-19 shelter-n-place.

Beautiful hike! Felt longer than it was. Really enjoyed the spruce and fir trail. Next time I’ll come and do the 1 hr loop through Hoyt Arboretum.

Fun hike! Redwoods were great. A bit confusing at times with the signage, but you can figure it out, especially with the AllTrails map and GPS. Prepare for paid parking at the trailhead, ~1.50/hr I think. Lots of folks walking so not the hike for those seeking solitude. Trail nice and dry as of this review.

It was pretty. Relatively easy to follow. Coyotes came out after sunset and we ran out just in time.

We are visiting downtown Portland and wanted some physical activity with beautiful scenery. It’s amazing that there are forest hikes so close to the downtown city area. We started going on this loop for the scenery and the easiness of the trail, which was perfect. We stopped at the Archery area because I saw a free shuttle and wanted to go up to the Pittock Mansion for a better view.

Great trails, though markings were a little confusing. Wonderful for a hot day hike. Redwoods are incredible. Imagine trails would be slippery when wet.

Clearly marked family friendly trail. Great in the summer - nice and cool. Looks like it can be wet and slippery in the winter.

Wonderfully beautiful trails with a multitude of places to explore, though navigation is tough if you don't bring a map along. You can easily hike as little or as long as you like through an incredible variety of trees and plants. After hiking you have many options of places to visit including the Vietnam Memorial, Oregon Zoo, Japanese Garden or Rose Garden!
